Warehouse Manager – Alcoholic Beverages Warehouse
Location: Cluj metropolitan area
Job Type: Full-time
Reports To: Operations Manager
Role Description: The Warehouse Manager is responsible for coordinating activities in the alcoholic beverages warehouse, ensuring accurate stock management, efficient space organization, and leading a team of up to 14 people. This role oversees product receipt, storage, inventory control, and delivery while adhering to legal regulations and the company’s quality standards.
Main Responsibilities:
Stock Management and Operational Control:
● Supervising product receipt, storage, and delivery processes.
● Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting periodic stock audits.
● Ensuring compliance with product handling and storage procedures.
● Monitoring deliveries to ensure deadlines are met.
● Coordinating the transportation and distribution of products to customers.
● Monitoring costs and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
● Entering goods into the WMS system in accordance with physical receipt (including expiration dates and lot numbers, if applicable).
● Ensuring that goods follow complete warehouse processes (WMS) for both IN and OUT flows.
● Periodically checking translation label information to avoid market errors.
● Verifying EAN SGR codes regularly to ensure correctness and compliance.
Team Coordination:
● Organizing and managing a team of 14 workers.
● Planning daily tasks and monitoring employee performance.
● Involving in the recruitment and evaluation of subordinate staff.
● Providing training and professional development for team members.
Warehouse Organization and Compliance:
● Ensuring optimal warehouse space organization.
● Complying with health and safety regulations.
● Maintaining a clean and orderly working environment.
● Ensuring compliance with customs and excise regulations.
● Preparing for external inspections and audits.
● Managing cases where delivered goods do not match orders or are damaged.
● Conducting periodic checks on equipment (reach trucks, forklifts, pallet trucks).
● Verifying additional warehouse equipment according to the "Warehouse Equipment Monitoring Table" attached to the job description.
● Regularly checking consumable products (labels, film, tape, glue, bubble wrap, boxes, etc.) and placing orders (directly with suppliers or through designated personnel).
Development and Innovation:
● Proposing improvements and optimizing warehouse processes.
● Preparing management reports and monitoring performance indicators.
● Handling fiscal and legal documentation related to warehouse operations.
Requirements:
● Minimum 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management, ideally in the alcoholic beverages or FMCG industry.
● Strong team management and coordination skills.
● Proficiency in using ERP/WMS systems.
● Knowledge of regulations related to excise goods management.
● Attention to detail, organizational skills, and problem-solving abilities.
